The linear economy that leads to mass production - mass consumption - mass waste has proven itself to be
an unsuitable model for mankind, causing a total crisis called the climate crisis. The fact that ESG management aims
for a sustainable earth, which has been continuously mentioned recently, means that the current system is not sustainable.
Symptomatic measures cannot solve the problem.
Can we solve the current climate crisis if we can treat only large amounts of waste?
Can waste be reduced if consumption culture is improved?
Is it still good that we produce more than we need, because price competition from mass production gives consumers benefits?
How to deal with the resulting waste of Earth's resources?
After all, the system was the problem and we need to fix it.
We need to stop the reckless extraction of earth's resources, improve consumption methods that encourage waste,
and move toward Circular Economy and Resource Circularatin Society that converts even waste into resources.
Considering various damages such as rapid climate change and the resulting sea level rise
and a sharp decline in crop production, this is not an ethical imperative, but a reasonable necessity for survival.

There was a time when upcycle was introduced as a compound word of recycle and upgrade.
At that time, it aroused worldwide interest as a sophisticated and innovative alternative to the waste treatment method.
However, now that recycling, including reuse, accounts for almost all of the waste treatment methods, upcycling cannot
be told simply a waste treatment method. Discourse on the circular economy and the resource circulation society means
the transformation of the macroeconomic structure. Unlike zero-waste discourse, which mainly deals with minimizing waste generation and
treating waste generated, we believe that upcycling should address our entire resource consumption culture for a sustainable planet.
We believe that upcycling is to present a new way of life that is suitable and practical for us living in the era of the climate crisis, including clothing,
food, and general living culture.
To this end, we strive to achieve below :
1. We propose a resource-circular lifestyle in the areas of clothing, food, shelter
and the entire living culture suitable for the climate crisis.
2. We research, develop, and propose upcycling content, products, and educational content to support these lifestyles.
3. To secure sustainability, we plan, research and propose policies and campaigns to foster the upcycling industry.
4. We strengthen cooperation by sharing developed and verified policy models and achievements with Asian countries,
local governments, and civic groups.
